Workshop Instructions
Volume 2
(1950 on to 1964)
These Workshop Instructions are issued with the object of giving our Agents and Traders full information concerning the normal maintenance and servicing of our products. The main items of equipment manufactured from January, 1950, are dealt with, and new issues will be made as further designs are introduced.
For ease of reference a separate Section is devoted to each part of the equipment, an Index being provided for each Section. The first sub-division of each Section contains loose-leaf pages giving supplementary information. Part A of this sub-division contains general technical information and details of specific servicing features on particular vehicles, and is thus of a permanent nature. Part B gives details of minor changes in design, and its pages are marked "Temporary Issue;" when and sub-section is reprinted, it will include the information given in the associated pages of Part B. These pages can then be removed from the folder.

This Volume is divided into a number of Parts corresponding to the product groups shown in the Contents page. Each Part is sub-divided into Sections, the first of which is reserved for information of a general nature, while subsequent Sections deal with individual models of equipment. The composition of each Part is shown in its own Index.
It will be frequently found that several versions of a particular model may be in production, each version differing from the others in some design detail, and being identified by its individual part number. In general, the most commonly used version is described and illustrated in these workshop instructions.
